Julien Faucher was born and raised in Paris where early on he developed a deep passion for both images and cinema.
While studying at Nanterre University, he started to devour movies, watching sometimes more than 3 per a day: dissecting them, analysing their light, photography, therefore building up a very sharp film culture.
Then, he spent 3 years at ESRA, Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle, where he completed his technical skills in sound, images and editing.
He started working for television but soon enough, his taste for aesthetics and fashion led him to collaborate with Stephanie Sednaoui and French fashion icon Mademoiselle Agnès.
Obsessed with finding the perfect frame and fascinated by the principles of symmetry, he develops his own vision as a director, directing his teams without ever leaving the eye of the camera.
Following the ever-growing demands for digital productions, Julien has worked on all existing formats, telling stories for different brands who love his sense of rhythm and his understanding of the fashion, luxury and beauty codes.
He now works with a very strong team and his own post-production studio, creating longer fictions on top of a multitude of video micro-contents.
His client list includes: Dior, Chanel, Bompard, De Grisogono, Valentino, Mackintosh, Chopard, Vogue, Harper Bazaar, Swarovski, Clarins, L’Oréal Paris, P&G, Fauchon, Maison Lejaby, BMW, Napapijri among others.
